Planning consists of all those managerial activities related to preparing for the future (David, 2009). This function of management could be one of the most important for the reason that “planning is the process by which one determines whether to attempt to task, works out the most effective way of reaching desired objectives, and prepares to overcome unexpected difficulties with adequate resources” (David, 2009).
Planning involves certain tasks that primarily focus on establishing the business objectives and how are they going to be executed and oriented in order to achieve the goals. Saying that, it is important to contrast the vision and mission with the business objectives, because they (vision and mission) are oriented to generate and provide a pleasant experience to customer. Based on it, objectives must be directed and guided towards generating and offering of an efficient and integrated service for children.
 
Objectives
There are different types of objectives. In terms of general objectives that include the entire organization, there are the strategic plans, and also the tactical plans, that are basically designed for top managers (task for top managers). In the other hand, the specific objectives established for the lowest level of organization is the operational plans, and as its name says it is specific for operational and process issues.
 
Strategic Plans:
  •  Generate sustainable profits in return of the investment.
  • Develop a stable contrast between the different changes that could be presented in the environment (stakeholders) and the company’s reaction from that.
  • Improves the company’s grow.
  • Expand the market reaching more zones and places to practice around the city (Bogota).
  • Use different tools to promote the brand, and also to find those channels that our clients regularly visit.
 
Tactical Plans:
  • Impulse the company’s name and brand, in order to make it a well recognized firm in the market.
  • Achieve a customer loyalty through offering an efficient and qualified service.
  • Generate some alliances with others football schools, to create and promote summer tournaments with them.
 
Operational Plans:
  • Develop a practical way or system to interact and communicate with customer.
  • Improve customer services
  • Be well informed of the new techniques and devices that are created and use in football practices and the industry.
 
Goal:
  • Promote the national talent, and also to develop it, through new current techniques and practices.
  • Help children to achieve their dreams, such as be seen by big clubs nationally and internationally.
  • In one year increase the number of employees with the purpose to provide more classes and practice days.
  • Acquire in three months the register in the “Liga de Bogota” to participate and compete in this league against the local clubs.
  • Positioning in the market as a recognized Company by its methodology of work and also the encouraging ideology of creating talent for the Colombian future.
  • Provide football journeys to play against foreign clubs, and also to have international experience for the club himself.
  • Conduct campaigns in different schools (alliances), to get known as an alternative for extracurricular activities.
  • Better the quality of children’s life, giving them the opportunity to improve their health while they are having fun.
 
Policies
Operational policies:
  • The employees (especially the trainers) should have a required knowledge in football training (new techniques, different ways of practices), as well as the appropriate concern in terms of physical education.
  • The punctuality of accomplish the different activities is essential to demonstrate the company's commitment.
 
Organizational Policies:
  • In the case that parents want to be present at the trainings, they only can assist to the weekend practices.
  • Everybody including trainers and students should be uniformed and also wearing the appropriate items for football (protection, shorts, long socks, football boots, etc).
  • In every practice there must attend at least one trainer qualified in first aid, in case of an accident or injured.
